A Maneki Neko (also known as beckoning Cat or Lucky Cat) is a popular Japanese sculpture, often displayed at stores or restaurants to bring luck and good fortune.
This started as a rendering test after reading one of Jeff Patton's mental ray tutorials, but I decided to put a piggy bank in there to make it a little more fun
